Extrusion pressure sensor
Gefran is the worlds largest supplier of extrusion pressure sensors. They supply both mercury filled and FDA approved oil filled sensors in a wide variety of styles & control outputs.
- Output 3.3mV/V or 4-20mA in ME series
- 350 ohm strain gauge – 400C at the diaphragm ranges to 1000 bar
- 1/2 x 20 UNF connection with 45° seat – metric threads optional M18x1.5
- Alternative configurations to suit your extruder
- Accuracy 1/2% or 1/4% optional
- Pin to pin compatible with Dynisco
- Rigid stem or flexible extension
- Optional internal electronics ME series- new magnetic control “autozero”
- Optional integrated thermocouple in K or J
- Optional CANBUS outputs
ECEFast carries stock of all common types. (in addition to extrusion melt thermocouples & extruder control systems). Special options such as special diaphragm materials for abrasion, or chemical attack are available on request.
- M30 – Rigid stem sensors with mV/V output- various stem lengths;
- M31- Rigid + Flexible stem sensors with mV/V output;
- M32 – Rigid + Flexible stem sensors with mV/V output and integral Thermocouple;
