Field temperature transmitter 7501 has just been released by PR Electronics of Denmark. As with most of their products the 7501 has a 5 year warranty, and a very wide range of approvals including IECEx Ex d for Zone 0. Some exclusive features include optical button interface with operation without opening the case – even with gloves – and dual colour backlight on the display. The display has a wide range of information available including tag No and digital and graphical process values. Other screens include set up and diagnostics for full flexibility.
- Accuracy better than 0.05% of range with damping 1-60 sec
- Thermocouple, RTD, Bi-polar mV and resistance inputs – 24 types
- Voltage drop 9.5VDC +2V if backlight selected
- HART 5 and HART 7 compatible with configuration via HART and push buttons
- SS or coated low copper aluminium enclosure (note SS series released soon)
- Text support messages for configuration and diagnostics
